Château St. Gerlach – Event Pavilion
Opened in 2017, the architect-designed St. Gerlach Pavilion boasts three multifunctional meeting rooms, that can be used separately or combined to encompass a vast 760m2 space, accommodating up to 1,000 people. The estate’s original Manor Farm offers a further six breakout rooms for intimate meetings and events.
Located in the heart of a verdant nature reserve, just 10-minutes outside Maastricht, The St. Gerlach Pavilion offers modern, conference facilities set against an historic backdrop. Designed by esteemed architect, Francine Houben, the contemporary structure uses materials inspired by the surrounding landscape to create an association with the existing château and adjacent Manor Farm. Inside, three supremely adaptable spaces can be used separately or combined to encompass a generous 760m2 space, accommodating up to 1,000 people for conferences, weddings and more.
Dating back to 1668, the Manor Farm at the entrance to the estate, has been entirely restructured and transformed into Burgemeester Quicx, Coffee & More, offering a welcome draw for coffee or lunch. The venue also offers six breakout rooms for intimate meetings and events, and can be used to enhance the larger conference facilities at St. Gerlach Pavilion.
Celebrated architect, Francine Houben explains, “The St. Gerlach Pavilion is designed with a generous overhanging roof and beautiful arch, using materials inspired by the surrounding landscape: limestone, bluestone and oak, ensuring a successful connection with the existing Château and newly renovated Manor Farm.”
